Storytime at the County Library

We invite children and their caregivers to join us for our weekly storytime programs! Preschool Storytime meets Tuesday mornings at 10:30 AM and appeals most to children ages 2-5. We check on our puppet friend, Hedgie, read books and sing songs.
New Program Alert! Starting on April 6, the County Library will now offer a weekly storytime program for school-aged children every Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM. School-aged kids, approximately ages 5-10, are invited to join us for longer read-alouds, great nonfiction titles, and even chapter book recommendations! This program will appeal to homeschoolers, preschool storytime graduates, and public school friends on holiday breaks.
Books & Babies meets Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM and is designed to engage infants 24 months and younger with their caregivers. At Books and Babies we read one short book, sing many songs, recite nursery rhymes, and play with puppets. At all our storytimes we make some noise and move around!

All children and their families are welcome at our storytime programs.  Call the library at (540) 984-8200 if you have any questions.
