Directions:
The County Library is located in Edinburg, VA. From Interstate 81, take exit 279. At the base of the exit ramp, head east. The County Library will be on the left about a half mile from the Interstate.

 



Holiday Closure

The County Library will be closed Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8. For the schedules of our other locations, please contact these libraries directly.

 
Circulation Assistant

We have a position open at the County Library in Edinburg for a Circulation Assistant. Hours are Monday 9:30-6:00, Tuesday 1:30-8:00, and alternating Saturdays 9:30-3:00. County Story Times


National Dog Day is August 26. Come celebrate our furry friends with dog themed story times at the County Library! Preschool story times are Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:30. Books and Babies is Thursday at 10:30. 

 
Quilt Fundraiser

On December 16, 2013, Tom Keveny of Edinburg was selected as the winner of the beautiful quilt made by members of the Shenandoah Valley Appliqué Society. Below right, Society President Jan Hood presents the quilt to the lucky winner.

Proceeds from the sale of tickets for the quilt raffle totaled $712. Below, Jan Hood presents a check to Library Director Sandy Whitesides. The Appliqué Society designated the money be spent on children’s literacy programs at the library.  Thank you to all who supported their effort!
