Color Our Collections

Get your pencils, paints, and markers ready to color images from our archives and then share them on social media!

Archives traditionally frown on individuals coloring historic items. However, for one special week out of the year we invite individuals to add your artistic flare to some of our items (reproductions of course). This Color Our Collections event, held between February 5th and 9th 2018 is led by the New York Academy of Medicine. We invite you to download our special archives color book, color the images within, and share them on social media with the hashtag #colorourcollections. Hundreds of other sites will also be offering special images for you to color and share.
