Martin Luther King Jr. once called eleven o’clock Sunday morning the “most segregated hour of Christian America.” In Shenandoah County this was certainly true. As part of our celebration of Black History Month 2018, we will be hosting a program that tells the religious institutions that have served the local African American Community.

This program will feature Archivist Zachary Hottel who will discuss not only the church's institutional history but also the history of the communities that they served. It will be held at the Shenandoah County Library at 7:00PM on Monday, February 12. This event is free and open to the public.
