Devoted to local history resources, the Shenandoah Room at the County Library is open during regular business hours.  Please note: Material held in the Archives Room can be made available only from Monday-Friday. The Shenandoah Room operates primarily as a self-service facility, with assistance available according to the following schedule:

Please join us in welcoming our new Children's Librarian Erica Hepner to the County Library family! Beginning Tuesday, April 21, storytimes will resume their usual schedules, with preschool programs held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30 and Books and Babies held on Thursdays at 10:30. Stay tuned for more excitement to come!

The New Market Area Library is pleased to welcome David Connerley Nahm for a talk and reading on Saturday, May 9 at 3:00 pm. Mr. Namh's stories have appeared in many literary magazines, and his novel "Ancient Oceans of Central Kentucky" has been described as a "gorgeous, haunting, prismatic jewel of a book." This program is free, and no registration is required.
