Teen Craft Club: Altered Books

The County Library will hold the first-ever meeting of its Teen Craft Club on Friday, October 3 at 4:30 pm. Join us, and turn old books into art! There is no charge for this program, and all supplies will be provided.

TAG Meeting

It's back!! The County Library's Teen Advisory Group will hold its first fall meeting on Friday, October 10 at 4:30 pm. We'll practice Super Smash Bros. Brawl in advance of our Video Game Tournament, as well as explore the final plans for our new Teen Space. Pizza and beverages will be served!

Voters must present one of the following acceptable forms of identification when voting, effective July 1, 2014:

  • Valid Virginia Driver’s License
  • DMV-issued photo identification card
  • Valid United States Passport
  • Valid Employee photo identification card
  • Other government-issued photo identification card
  • Valid college or university student photo identification card (issuer must be an institution of higher education located in Virginia)

If you do not have an acceptable form of identification
please contact your local voter registration office for a free ID.

October 2014 Multiple Copy Fiction
Crafty Kids Workshop

Join us at the County Library on Tuesday, October 7 at 6:30 pm for a "Crafty Kids Workshop." We'll provide the materials (or you may bring some from home) if you'll bring your creativity and imagination, as we construct a project to take home.

Video Game Tournament

The County Library will host a Smash Bros. Brawl Video Game Tournament on Saturday, October 18 at 12:30 pm. Gift cards and trophies will be awarded to top finishers, but all who participate will receive a prize. Sign up now at the County Library!

Shenandoah Room Hours

Devoted to local history resources, the Shenandoah Room at the County Library is open during regular business hours.  Please note:  Material held in the Archives Room can be made available only from Monday-Friday.  The Shenandoah Room operates primarily as a self-service facility, with assistance available according to the following schedule:
